Lamar Lee
Lead Pastor
Pastor Lamar Lee has served as Lead Pastor at Baxley Church of God since November 2006. Pastor Lee is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God.
Before coming to Baxley, he and his wife Kim were full-time evangelists. Together they conducted revivals as they preached and sang the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the United States of America. After twelve years of a very successful evangelism ministry, Pastor Lee felt the call to go into a pastoral ministry at the Christian Union Church of God in Ashburn, GA. He pastored there for eight years. They witnessed a church with 25 in their first service experience tremendous growth spiritually and numerically.
On November 19th, 2006, Pastor Lamar and Kim became the Pastor and First Lady of the Baxley Church of God. The church has grown from 150, the first service, to hundreds in each service weekly.
On Sunday, February 14th, 2021, the church celebrated the Grand Opening of their brand new 22,500 square ft. sanctuary. The church continues to expand the Kingdom of God and remains fully engaged in being a vital and contemporary New Testament Church ministry.
Pastor Lee and First Lady Kim’s greatest passion in ministry is winning the lost and leading the church into a closer relationship with Christ through worship, discipleship, and serving others.
Pastor’s greatest success in life is his marriage and family with Kim. Pastor Lamar and Kim are joined in ministry with their son Landon and his wife Katie, and with daughters Lacey and Logan.

Javan Anderson
Worship Pastor
Pastor Javan first came to Baxley Church of God in the fall of 2007. He grew up traveling across the nation singing Southern Gospel with his family, "The Andersons" as well as touring with the CCM band "Unity" before answering the call to go into local church ministry. Pastor Javan is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God, Cleveland Tn. He is joined in ministry by his wife, Amber, and their three sons; Blake, Maddox, and Walker. Pastor Javan and Amber share in the excitement that God is up to something big at the Baxley Church of God!
Jordan Ball
B Students Pastor
Jordan and Lauren rejoined our team at Baxley in September of 2017 after beginning his ministry here as Kid's Pastor. Jordan is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God and a graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor’s in Ministry Leadership. His wife Lauren, is also a graduate from Lee University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling & Master's of Middle Grades Math from WGU and is a teacher at Appling County Middle School. They work as a team and desire to see the love of Jesus come to life in the lives of students and to see them becoming life long disciples! They have two little girls, Charlee & Chandler. We are so excited to have them leading our Student Ministry!
Landon Lee
B Next Pastor
Landon and Katie joined our team in July 2023. They are the newest members of the Baxley COG Staff. They have a desire to bridge the gap between the older generation and the new generation that are trying to find their place. They have a goal of changing the culture of our area. Their mission is to inspire and disciple the Next Generation of Believers and Leaders. We are believing for great things to come through our Young Adult Ministry.
Broni Rentz
Office Administrator
Broni Rentz, has been the office administrator at Baxley Church of God since 1998. She is responsible for handling the day to day operations at the church office. Broni and her husband, Chris, have two children, Jeremy and Kris Ann.
